Encrypto est dispo pour Mac et Windows. Super ! Oui, mais beaucoup d’utilisateurs n’ont pas de PC Windows, mais ont des iPad ou des iPhone. Dans ce cas, impossible en pratique de chiffrer les fichiers car il seront indéchiffrables sur les mobiles. Notez que cette éventuelle application iOS soit payante, ça ne me gênerait pas. Encrypto is available for Mac and for Windows. Great ! Yes, but many users do not have a Windows PC, but use an iPad or an iPhone. In this case, encrypt files is not really posisble as they will be unreadable on these devices. Note that this potential iOS app may not be free, it doesn’t bother me.

What Hash??? SHA-512, Whirlpool??? Open-Source???????????

This app is really handy and so powerful, I am so amazed it works cross-OS so well. The UI is just wonderful. Congratulations on such a great piece of software.

Say good job to your designers MacPaw, very amazing a fluid animations. I like the fact that the loading animation isn’t fake, it’s actually a real loading :). Keep up the good work and can’t wait to see this on linux and cli!

Good and handy

I often needs to send encrypted files to some coworkers. This is way easier to do it with that app. I tempted to invest in the company!

great but… nags you to share your info. every. time. until. you. relent. I’d rather pay a couple of bucks.

This app does what it claims and does it well. However, if you are just wanting to protect sensitive files on your hard drive so that others can’t access them, this is where you might be disappointed. Because the app doesn’t create a volume which can be loaded by inputting your password you created. So every time you want to access the file you have to decrypt it and this can be very time consuming on larger files. Thats why I am only giving it 2 stars at this time. If they can address this issue in future updates, then this would definitely be a 5 star app.

AES-256による暗号化が手軽にできて、とても便利です。 『Encrypto』と同じデペロッパーが出している『Hider 2』も利用していますが、一つのファイルを暗号化しておいておくだけの時は『Encrypto』を使用しています。 （『Hider 2』は、暗号化をし、Finderから非表示にするアプリです。） アイコンと名前も好みで、とても気に入っています。 そして無料なのもありがたい。 Its great app.

MacPaw apps are always amazing

Amazing little app. Encrypts text documents and other files with ease and quickness. Also decrypts the files easily too. And password remember neumonic is helpful! Has option to save to multiple different places - iCloud, Dropbox, Desktop, External Drives, etc. 10/10 would highly recommend!

For a long time I was looking for a simple and functional application for encryption. Very easy to use, intuitive, fast and as is usual in Macpaw has an incredible appearance. I used to encrypt directories and photo files, everything worked perfectly without problems or failures. Im already a fan of CleanMyMac and once again the MacPaw excelled with a simple idea that everyone needs. Thank’s MacPaw ...

I’ve always been obsessed with secuery and I’ve tried a bunch of plugins and apps that encrypt files with not the greatest of luck or suport. So when trying this one I was ready to jude it with a stern hand. I’m very happy to say that it works great. Super fast and does just what it should do with ease. The only real shocking part about this app is that they are not charging for it. With it working as good as it does I would have gladly paid for this app.

I’ll keep it brief: This app is amazing. It does everything adverised and does so with style and speed. Encrypting a 5GB file is speedy to say the least, and the protection and built-in hint function is beautiful. It’s sublime. This is one of those apps that if you have a need for, get it immediately, and if you don’t…keep it in your toolbox for when you do.

Super easy to use and cross platform. Fits my needs perfectly. Great app.
